Tanzi is a “Certified Dog Behavior Consultant” (CDBC), “Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed Level 1” (CPDT-KA), and “Pat Miller Certified Trainer” (PMCT1). That means she is certified by the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, and by a famous trainer, Pat Miller, both via examination and demonstration of training methods in three intense academies.

  • In home training
Behavioral issue focus:

We work with dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes to help them with whatever they need help with from puppy basics or manners to anxiety, fear, phobia, and aggressive behavior.

All clients begin with a consultation so we know what is going on. Then we write a custom training plan for our lessons which may be virtual, in-person, or a hybrid package depending on the situation and location. We use least intrusive, minimally aversive methods starting with managing the environment to set the dogs and people up for success, providing rewards for desirable behavior, preventing rehearsal of unwanted behavior, and gradually adding difficulty to move from the training phase to real life environments.

Clients book lessons in sets of 4, so working with us is flexible and rates aren’t outrageous.

Service area:

We mostly work in the Baltimore County area and just over the City line. We need your address to check availability to calcuate drive time. Virtual lessons are available anywere as long as we can find a mutually convenient time.

Arrow Weiser

Hi I’m Arrow, the owner and trainer at WeiserWays. I specialize in reactivity, and bridging the communication gap between dogs and their guardians. My training is based in understanding a dogs body language, signs of stress, and teaching humans the education that creates a strong foundation for communication and coexistence.

I teach humans how to manage the environment to allow dogs space to process their emotions, and work through triggering situations with the end goal of healing. Reactivity training is meant to work from the inside out by first understanding the dogs emotions that drive their behavior, and then implementing exercises that alleviate stress and create a safe space for dogs to heal and grow.

Certifications: B.S. Psychology, M.Sc Animal Behavior

Services include:
  • Aggressive dog training
  • In home training
  • Reactive dog training
Behavioral issue focus:

I mainly work with dogs that are dog-dog reactive, dog-human reactive, and dog-other animal reactive.

Training methods:

My consultation is 90 minutes and consists of two parts. The first part is Human Education: this s where I teach my clients about the canine ladder of communication, dog postures and their meanings, the dog’s hierarchy of needs, how to fill your dog’s cup up, the difference between offensive aggression and defensive aggression, the wheel of emotions and more.

In the second part of the consult, we discuss your dog, what you are looking to work on with your dog, and find your dog’s distance of reactivity. After the consultation, I give you homework and invite you to your individual homework and training log portal. In the portal, you will have daily homework and will be asked to fill in the homework you do in your training log. This way I am able to see what you and your dog are doing, and how things are going daily.

When we begin training sessions they will be 1 hour in duration, we use reinforcement as rewards (treats, praise, toys, play) whichever your dog prefers most.
